Nearby Starbucks & Pottering on Old Karatsu Highway Harumachi ~ Soshoji Temple (Munakata City)

 

On an autumn day, enjoyed pottering in the nearby area from Harumachi 原町, a post-station town 宿場町 on the Old Karatsu Highway 旧唐津街道, to Soshoji Temple 宗生寺.

(Parking the car at the Harumachi entrance parking lot, it's a nearby pottering on Brompton "Poter-Kichi")

Harumachi is a charming place with its nostalgic atmosphere.  On both sides of the gentle slope of the old road, it remains a glimpse of when it would have been crowded with people to and from Kokura - Karatsu.

A few years ago, passed by here from my place and ran to the next post town, Azemachi 畦町, and then Aoyagi-machi 青柳町, but now not have enough physical strength or willpower to do so.

Hanging a digital camera around my neck and took a picture for a memo.
But strange enough, the image settings of the camera were messing.

Shokakuji Temple

Guidance to the destination, Soshoji Temple 宗生寺

Take a side street from the old Karatsu Highway 旧唐津街道 

It says, "10 minutes on foot, 1 minute by car", is it true?

Not bad, arrived!

The temple gate is a former Karamete Gate, relocated from Najima Castle (was Najima seaside in Fukuoka), and is said to be made of a large walnut tree.

The backyard is a famous spot for azaleas, but it was a little rough.

The red color of the crow gourd was shining along the roadside.

On the way here just kept up, now down only, nice isn't it!

Starbucks near the Mitsuoka intersection on Route 3 opened in September this year.

Can use the Starbucks LINE ticket - a friend's gift for my birthday.

Got permission to bring in "Potter-Kichi" and brought it inside.

Poter-Kichi behaves himself.

Following advice from the staff using the LINE gifts to the limit amount, ordered:

 * V Espresso Affogato Frappuccino

 * Bacon and spinach quiche

Bloody huge cup! 　

Took a sip

Sweet!  It's really sweet! 

(this pottering was planned for to prepare the regular heart checkup (with a blood test) on the following week, pretending I keep reasonably good exercises and give the doctor some positive impression - break a little sweat and get a tan so that the traces of the watch strap are clearly visible .....)

When a portion of the quiche was carried and spread in my mouth, felt a sense of happiness.
